Before training with Gary I was very unmotivated and didn’t enjoy any attempt at exercise. I was continually stopping and starting and became very unfit, loosing tone, fitness and gaining weight.
The training has been educational both regarding training and nutrition. The sessions are motivational and fun. Because I enjoyed my sessions so much I found I was prioritising my workouts and not making excuses or putting it off. Seeing results has been the best motivator.
Having someone that is so educated and walks the talk presents great value. Gary understands my weak points (eating out and enjoying food) and adapts a nutritional plan accordingly. Seeing the results Gary gets from applying what he shares if very inspirational.
I feel much more confident about myself and my training. Even when I have to miss training due to travel etc for periods of time I know it’s easy to pick it up again quickly.

I would highly recommend GB perform. In the last year Gary has not only helped me drop 3 dress sizes, he has helped me manage my state of mind and helped me focus on what is important.
One of my biggest downfalls was the food I was eating and without Gary’s help I would still be eating it all now. I enjoy all the foods I should be eating and he is always happy to give me alternatives to foods I love.

Gary is simply outstanding. As a healthcare professional myself, I am always a bit wary about finding someone in the health industry. You know there are a lot of hacks out there. It is also complicated by the fact that I have heart failure and need someone who has some extra special knowledge about physiology and nutrition. I can say without a doubt that Gary will change your life and help you on your fitness and body development journey. He knows his stuff, he is a great guy, great personality and knows how to build a fitness regime around you.
If you do one thing today, pick up the phone and give him a text – you will not look back I promise. I am obsessed.

I have recently completed 2 10 week blocks of training with Gary. I approached him as I am a 50 year old woman who has experienced a frozen shoulder for nearly 2 years. Although I had recovered about 80% of my mobility in the shoulder, I still felt like there was more I should be doing to strengthen that area, and had heard that weight training can be beneficial for ageing women in preventing osteoporosis etc!
I have found that the focused sessions with Gary have improved my strength, posture and mobility in that shoulder as well as being good fun. I didn’t really need advice on diet but we still have a good chat about dishes we like as well as generally putting the world to rights!
Gary mixes up the exercises so the time goes quickly and I have felt challenged just the right amount- he is good at judging when I have had enough or when I can handle a bit more.
I would definitely recommend Gary to anyone looking to improve their general fitness and/or to address a specific issue they have.

I have always been reasonably active but had struggled to lose the pounds since stopping playing football after which I put on weight. I also tended to eat on the run and late due to work commitments.
Despite trying various gym and diets etc nothing seemed to work.
I started training with Gary at GB Perform January last year and by August of the same year I had lost 5 stone.
This was achieved by using a tailored meal plan produced by Gary and varied weekly exercise routine which I work through 1 on 1 with Gary. The food plan was very good and easy to stick to. The mixture of weights and cardio work also keeps me engaged.
The flexible approach over the various lock downs and restrictions over the year also aided in me achieving my goals.
Can not recommend enough.
